It works as long as soon as the lone worker begins a task where they might be at risk, they simply dial into our system with their mobile phone. They are then prompted with easy step-by-step instructions to provide us with information about who they are visiting, their location and how long they will be there. The worker then carries on duties as normal, with the reassurance they can activate an alert status at any time. The system will automatically contact the worker if they have not called back within the specified time period. If no response is received, we will automatically notify our team and replay the workers last known activity details. Help will then be summoned.
